I have to admit that I have a mild case of Bieber Fever. Embarrassing? maybe… but the epidemic is sweeping the nation.
Symptoms of Bieber Fever include (but not limited) to obsessive conversation, stalking, and knowing all the words to his songs. The most serious symptom is giving him nicknames, such as Biebs, J-Beebs, and JB, and including him in conversation as if you know him.
Yah, so I realize that making a chocolate portrait of him boarders crazy, but since everyone else is capitalizing on Justin Bieber, I thought I’d hop on that bandwagon.
Supplies needed to make your own Bieber portrait:
- 4oz white chocolate Merckens
- 4oz dark chocolate Merckens
- Acetate sheets (also known as transparencies)
- Tape
- Parchment triangles, or piping bags
- The chocolate portrait tutorial found here
It’s easiest to use stylized images, such as cartoon, line art, or silhouettes. A easy way to stylize your image is to use a photo editing program, such as Adobe Photoshop, but there are many photo editors (that are free) available online.
To make your own Bieber portrait, you’ll need to read this tutorial, because the technique is listed there.
For the record, I’m not in love with him; that would definitely make me a cougar.
